“SWARNIM GUJARAT” – Say Happy Birth Day Gujarat

On the 1st May 2010, Gujarat my mother land is celebrating its Golden Jubilee. Government has taken a major initiative by celebrating Gujarat Birthday with the “SWARNIM GUJARAT” title.

Government has schedule many events as a part of celebration. One can find all details here on the official site of “SWARNIM GUJARAT”

All government bodies, monuments and historical places are decorated with lights and flowers. Even many common people have take initiative and place lights on their houses, shops and offices.

Today GUJARAT is turning 50 but still looks so young, beautiful and charming. Being a Gujarati I feel so proud that I took birth on the land of Gujarat. This post is a small initiative and love towards my mother land GUJARAT.

In today's Fast life we dont have time for ourself or for anybody. We just wake up in the morning, work like an artificial robot and Go to Bed at late night with lots of work pressure and tension.

well but with this we are missing out true life.

Jarak to nazar naakh,
saame kabar dekhay che.

Diwali hoi ke holi,
badhu office ma j ujvaay che.

Aa badhu to thik hatu,
pan hadd to tya thaay che.....
Lagan ni kankotri male,
tya shrimant ma maand javaay che.

5 aankdana pagaar che,
pan potana maate 5 minute pan kya vapraay che.
patni no phone 2 minute ma kaapi nakhe,
pan client no call kya kapaay che.

phone book bhari che mitro thi,
pan koinaay gher kya javaay che.
have to gharna prasango pan halfday ma ujvaay che.

thaakela che badha chhata, loko chaalta j jaay che.

Nal Sarovar - Bird Sanctuary of Gujarat

Last Sunday we visit Nal Sarovar, a bird Santury of Gujarat. It was awesome experince. I would like to share with you.

Situated: Around 65 k.m west From Ahmedabad (Gujarat)
Area: Nal Sarovar (Lake) is spread in 125 k.m
Best Time For Visit: November to February
Best Time: Reach at 6.00 a.m

its migratory bird population includes Rosy Pelicans, Flamingoes, White Storks, Brahminy Ducks and Herons.

Collecting Childhood memories

Some TV shows puts a greater impact on me. I want to share some of my childhood memories with you people. Till today whenever I see these videos it makes me smile.

Whenever I feel sad for needs to recharge my self, I used to see these videos. I have downloaded many episodes of them but sharing two from all.

I am staring this blog for my motherland gujarat. As I leave in Ahmedabad, the city represents joy full people, the city where people believes in "MAJJA NI LIFE..."

So some words about our city - Ahmedabad(Amdavad).

ek TGB nu food ane
Jayhind ni son papdi amari jan che.

sidi saiyad ni jadi amari shan 6.

ek var aavi to juo..
Marvanu man thay avu,
amaru ankariy talav 6.

jaybhavani na vada pav,
ne maharaj na samosa,
Das na khaman
ane sankalp n dhosa,
Honest na bhaji pav,
ane cheers no ice-cream,
choice na pizza,
ane asharfi ni kulfi,
Farki ni lassi,
